Hi! My name is Kim, and that’s me down there with my little girls. We are based in the Baltimore area of Maryland and are available for maternity, newborn, child, & family portrait sessions throughout the Baltimore, Annapolis and DC area. Our studio is location in Maryland’s “Music City” Catonsville 21228, and we are available for location family and child sessions.

How much does a session cost?
Classic Sessions are $175, and you can add on a mini maternity for only $75. Prints begin at $35 for an and we also offer Digital Portrait collections, starting at $625.
Do you offer the rights to the photos on CD?
Our number one question:) Yes, we do offer images on CD. All of our collections include an amount of digital images on CD and the right to reproduce them. Collections range from $625 to $1300. Our easiest option, the Signature Session, includes all of your gallery images and the session fee in one flat fee.
Where will we hold our session? While we will hold sessions anywhere within 20-30 miles of 21228, we do require newborns to be photographed in the Catonsville Whimsy Baby Studio. This is where we have access to an array of fun props, fabrics, and controlled lighting and temperature. We may allow on location newborn sessions for an additional fee. Just ask.
Will you photograph weddings?
No, at this time, my focus is on the little ones. However, please ask for a list of our highly recommended referrals.
When should we do my maternity session/pregnancy photos?
The best time to photograph maternity, is around the 32-36th week.
How do you schedule a newborn session when the baby isn’t here yet?
Let me know your estimated due date, and I will pencil it in on my calendar. When baby does arrive, contact me as soon as you can, and we will set up a specific date. Newborn sessions are always held within ten days of baby’s birth. Make sure you book your session while you are still pregnant to make sure we can get you on the calendar!
What are your family sessions like, what do we wear, and what are the locations?

Do you offer holiday cards or birth announcements?
In the past, I have enjoyed working with clients to create custom designed birth announcements and holiday cards. While I love helping clients customize their cards, I’ve always wanted to offer more variety while maintaining quality and good design. So we are partnering with the talented designers over at Tinyprints.com. More details on our storefront coming soon.
Why do photographers prices vary so much? I found one photographer who charges $175 for the session AND the CD!
The portrait industry is filled with new photographers and varying talents. You will find price ranges in Maryland from only $100 to upwards of $5,000. The important aspect to look for in a portrait photographer is, quality in their work. We have put careful consideration in our pricing to reflect our studio, equipment quality, and years of experience. While you can’t get everything and the kitchen sink for $175 like you can with some hobbyist photographers, you can find very affordable products and digital pricing with us.
